See, this is what makes my head explode. My daughter went through a period of loving Jake and the Neverland Pirates. But good luck finding a shirt that includes Izzy. I guess if a girl appears on a “boys” shirt, his penis will shrivel up and fall off. I guess it’s the same with Gamora. We spend so much time telling boys in subtle and not-so-subtle ways that girls are repulsive, is it any wonder that rape culture is a thing?
