Clare’s story makes me want to rage, but the fact that we’ve got 17-year-old young women like her gives me hope for the future.

I find it difficult to believe there are still people like that who put young folks on trial.

And the fingertip rule is the most stupid rule ever. I’m a teacher and I have always been blessed with classrooms of tall monkey armed girls, amazing swimmers by the way. I refused to use this rule against my students. For heaven’s sake…if these girls followed the rule, their shorts would be at their knees.
